Award Season

Lets start with the most outrageous looks seen at the Grammy's this year. I love leopard print don't get me wrong, but I prefer a touch of leopard print not it covering your body from head to toe. Nikki loves to push the envelope and I love that about her but I'm not digging this look. 

Lady Gaga never fails to put on a show.  That's just what she did this year at the Grammy's showing up not in a limo but in an egg. 

Only someone that has a rocking body like Ciara could pull this dress off. I love the color and the patter on the bottom, but there are just too many cut outs going on. I love the top of the dress, but if the slit not as high it would make it look more proportioned. 

Katy Perry always like to be playful, but her wings and jeweled bra made her look like she belonged in the Victoria Secret fashion show. I really love her long hair and middle part. 

Jennifer Lopez looked life a life sized disco ball at the Grammy's this year. I loved the dress, purse, and shoes but not all together. Remember less is better don't over do an outfit, and be careful if you wear those studded Louboutin's. Jen stabbed her foot and the paramedics had to be called!!

After seeing Nicole Kidman being on the worst dressed list the last few events she attended it's nice to finally see she picked a knockout dress. The colors in this dress looks great with her skin tone, and I love the light curls in her hair. I hope she continues this good dressing trend.

I love everything about this dress. The color, luster, and cut is a knockout. Her hair is cute also. It seems the side part and the light waves were big hit this award show. 

Kelly Osbourne's look was one of my favorites this year. This color lavender would be a cute spring color. I really love the texture of the dress as well and the satin ribbon bow tied in the middle. It's safe to say Kelly Osbourne's new body is fierce. 

Heidi had me a little nervous as to what she was going to wear, and its nice to know we have our fashionable Heidi back!

This Jean Paul Gaultier dress caused quite the stir but I love it. Rhianna is the only person I know that could pull it off and I love that she did. O na na what's my name 

Brit Awards 

Even though I'm not a huge fan of gloves or huge bows in your hair I just can't look away, and the sequin detail on the dress is to die for. 

I love the simplicity of this white dress. This look would be a perfect outfit to wear to a party in the spring or summer. Love Love 

I haven't heard much from Avril lately, but I love the fringe on the bottom of the dress. I'm glad to see she went with black because a color might be a little too crazy with her streaks of colored hair. 

I'm not fan of this dress at all. She almost looks like a dinosaur with the spikes on the sleeves of the dress. But i really doenjoy her hair and makeup. 

Spoil Yourself This Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is the official day of love, so why don't you give the royal treatment the most influential, important person in your life YOU. This year has been pretty busy so far so how about you stop, smell the roses and spoil yourself. Here are a few things you can do for yourself on Valentine's Day.

One of the most relaxing, enjoyable, and refreshing things to do is go to the spa. It's sure to clear your mind and leave you feeling refreshed. You can go and just get a manicure and pedicure, or go all out and get a massage and facial. If you are in the need for some alone time take some time away and go by yourself. If you haven't had much time to spend with the girls this is the perfect time to catch up on all the gossip. If your man has been stressed and busy at work surprise him and take him on a romantic date for two. 




Get Some New Kicks 

One way to treat yourself on Valentine's Day would be to finally buy a pair of those red sole Christian Louboutin shoes you have been dying to have since you could remember. Well better late than never but you need to get a pair into your closet. If your closet already has a few fierce red soles get yourself a unique pair you can only pull out for special occasions. But if this is your first Louboutin purchase, buy a classic pair that you will wear with everything. This shoes are fierce and your pretty little feet deserve to strut around in these bad boys, and they will look awesome with all of your Khojo dresses.

Another thing you can buy yourself is a new perfume! If you usually wear a fruity scent try something new and go with a floral scent. Try Victor& Rolf Flowerbomb perfume if you like a floral scent. Take a long lunch and get away for a little bit and go perfume shopping :)

Another fun thing to spoil yourself with is make-up. Who doesn't love getting a new lip gloss or mascara. It makes you feel just fabulous so why not get a great new lipstick for your night out.

La Perla is a great way to make you feel a little sexier and who doesn't want to feel sexy on Valentine's Day? Buy it and wear it for your man or wear it for yourself. It's all about treating yourself remember!

The weather might be drab but you can still be fabulous

       The weather might be pretty slushy and cold, but your look can still be fierce with some awesome accessories. All the new spring collections are in every magazine and are starting to show up in every store, but it would be nearly impossible to rock those looks with our weather still being nothing like spring. So instead of trying to rock that cute dress just yet how about mixing spring accessories with your winter wardrobe, or adding some statement pieces so you can look fabulous the rest of winter. 

This clog shoe is a great mixture for late winter and early spring. These would still look really cute with a great dress and some tights, and in the spring you can wear them with your favorite Khojo sun dress. 

If you are more a flat girl than a heel girl oxfords are a perfect way to go. This would look great when you feel like your outfit just needs a little pop. This can also be worn now with jeans or a dress, and transitioned into spring and summer. 

Another fun item to spice up an outfit is feather accessories. Wearing feather earrings, a necklace, or a purse it's a great way to add a little fun to your outfit when going out on a chilly Saturday night.

Sunglasses are another fun accessory on bright snowy days. Especially when your whole body is being covered by your coat and winter accessories your sunglasses will shine through. Wear a pair that makes you feel great, and when you find those perfect sunglasses you will wear them all year long. 

Even though your hands with be covered with gloves, when you take them off there will be a pretty surprise of a bright cheery color underneath. It's a great way to add some excitement when we have have not so fun freezing days :) The bright colors will remind you spring is just around the corner. 

These studded heels and boots will look fabulous now or in the spring. Studs are not for everyone, but if you love them these shoes are perfection. These studded boots will look cute with a dress and tights or with a skirt or shorts in the summer. Just look at Whitney Port rocking her Sam Edelman Alexander studded shoes.

Another thing you can have fun with and make colorful is your lipstick. When you are all bundled up you will be able to see your lipstick peaking out. Lip color can change your overall look and pull the outfit together. Don't be afraid to try a bright red or orange. You never know how it looks until you try it!!

Valentine's Day 2011

One of the most romantic days of the year is just around the corner!! Whether you are in a relationship or ridin' solo you still want to look fabulous on Valentine's Day. You might have a romantic date planned with your man or a fun night with the girls. Either way looking fierce will make you feel sexy. And  you never know if your new cute dress might attract some attention from a cute boy or a a few cute boys ;) 

If you want to go the traditional valentines day way and wear red and pink Go for it! Its always a lot of fun to rock out those colors for the holiday.
