How do you "Whip your Hair?"

Fall is here and winter is around the corner, so how will you whip your hair?  Willow Smith, actor and actress, Will and Jada Smith's daughter, has this new catchy song "Whip My Hair" and let's just say she's only 9 years old and she sounds great!


So it got me thinking, what hairstyles can my Khojo ladies do for the winter, that is still hot and keeps your hair healthy ?!?!?


 First up, RIHANNA!!! Say what you want about Miss Ri-Ri, she has proven to be the number risk taker when it comes to here hair!!!


Bowl Haircut is a great on maintenance for this fall and winter!  For those of you who have are a little afraid to try this with color, that's totally fine, the cut still looks great with your natural hair color!  The great thing is if you have longer hair, a sew-in is recommended in protecting your hair from this harsh winter coming up!!!
Now please, don't try this at home!!!

Model, Agyness Deyn is rocking more of a shagged bowl cut!  This can transform your look to high fashion...

Mary J. Blige, gotta love her!!! She is ultimately the queen of hairstyles!!! What hasn't she tried?!?! :)  Make sure to note to your stylist if using weave/tracks/aka fake hair to not make it to thick or heavy at the top!  You want this look to be modern and chic as possible!

Now to all my natural sista's, I didn't forget about you! :) Now, I like dreads and twist, I really do...but one thing that bothers the ish out of me is when there's no proper maintenance being done!

Are you in the process of rehabbing your hair?  The best advice given to me is, "stop stressing your hair!"  Check out some some of these hot sew ins!!!  Best word to describe a great sew-in...it has to be "undetectable" :)


Since I followed my stylist advice, let's just say...my hair is draping...in other words, it's growing and it's healthy!

                            Shoulder length hair has always been in ladies!!! It's easier to maintain...and I use to think the longer the hair the younger it makes you look...not necessarily true! :)  I recommend trying some layers this winter with volume...Here, I am rocking a flat wrap (whisper) with extensions!!!

Hey messy bun...I love messy buns because we can literally do this at home!!! If your not to good with doing your own hair, get it done by your stylist first, then try this at home! 


 While structured buns also look nice, looking at the imperfections of a messy bun makes it more beautiful!  We are not perfect and our buns doesn't have to be either! lol

For those of you who wear extensions...there are times when your weave is getting a lil old! :) Some of us have kids and don't have the time to take it out soon enough...I suggest the side braid ponytail....Hotttttttt!!!!

                                                      This look can work with wavy, curly , and straight hair!!!!

Color Me UP!!!

 We all can't do this!!! I Repeat, we all just can't wake up and say hmmm, i want to color my hair 2 different colors!!! Some are restoring the our hair back and others don't have the hair to do it!!! Regardless, when coloring you hair, it requires proper maintenance!!! 


 If your restoring your hair,colored extensions may be your friend...if you don't have hair, just admire!!!  Please don't ever think twice about damaging your hair just to follow a trend!!!
