Generation Project Event at Rugby Ralph Lauren Store

The Generation Project has three goals: (1) Generate ideas to benefit low-income K-12 students, (2) Generate new philanthropists by actively involving donors in the giving process, and (3) Empower the next Generation by harnessing the ingenuity of individuals to improve educational opportunities.

Since we had control on what we donate, we decided to donate to the Fine Arts department for the students!  Many students don't get the opportunity to follow their passion in playing an instrument, becoming a fashion designer, or a photographer because the necessary programs are not feasible due to lack of funds!!!  So we pray are donation can at least help keep one student's passion and dream alive to pursue their dreams in becoming the next Vera Wang or Sade Adu...

For every donation JP Morgan Chase  matched our donation...so in essence each donation was doubled by Chase!!!
Here are pics from the event...

Ralph Lauren was kind enough to lend Generation Project his store for a great cause!!!!

Again, how the site works is that people like you and I, can make a donation and teachers can go on the site and claim the donation for their students!!! It's that easy!!! You can donate books, computers, money, tickets to the Field Musuem...whatever you want!!! You can also see how your donation is being used!
