The mission of Project SYNCERE (Supporting Youth's Needs with Core Engineering Research Experiment is to increase the number of minority, female, and underserved students pursuing careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Project SYNCERE held a Community Day of Service at Dumas Technology Academy on October 16, 2010. A total of 70 volunteers showed up to the event to help enrich the learning space at the school. Some of the activities that took place were; painting of the classrooms, chalkboards changed to whiteboards, games painted on the playground, organization of classrooms, building of bookcases, and so on.
